The Accelerator PCA Showcase Awards recognise innovation in Service Excellence, Employee Wellbeing and Human-centred Leadership during the uncertainties of the pandemic in 2020.

Accelerator and PCA are delighted to announce the results of the Accelerator PCA Showcase Awards 2020, where the overall winners are Doro Care UK, Deckers Europe and Anchor Hanover. In addition, FirstPort, Fora Space and Landmark Space were also commended for their very convincing entries.   

The Accelerator PCA Showcase Awards celebrate organisations in any sector or industry for their remarkable efforts and innovation in customer service, employee wellbeing and leadership during the challenges of the pandemic in 2020.

Submissions came from organisations representing a wide range of industries and sectors that reflected resilience, adaptability and delivering excellence against the odds, both internally and externally, in these uncertain times.

Results

Service Excellence During Crisis

Anchor Hanover is England’s largest not for profit provider of housing and care for older people. They manage 54,000 properties with over 60,000 residents, across 1,700 sites and are supported by more 10,000 colleagues. They provide retirement housing to rent and to buy, retirement villages and residential care homes, including specialist dementia care and operate in more than 90% of local councils in England.  

Anchor Hanover also operate 114 care homes in England, nine of which were rated Outstanding at their most recent CQC inspections.

Doro is a provider of technology-enabled care services to corporate clients such as County Councils and Housing Associations, as well as private self-funding customers.  In its simplest form it is a pendant alarm that is worn around the neck or wrist that the user presses if they need 24/7 emergency assistance. There is also a wide range of additional sensors that support people with dementia, carers, long term conditions and mental health issues to live independently at home. Their services focus on independent living, peace of mind and safety and security and have been of particular importance during the pandemic.

Deckers Europe Ltd are a global footwear company, who own a number of exciting brands including UGG and HOKA.
